How does your garden grow
The sweet peas smell heavenly. They are the last thing I look at before closing the front door at night, and the first plant I check in the morning. There seem to be new blooms daily.
My cucumber and tomatoes are coming along nicely. They love this hot weather and need watering morning and evening at present.
Hope you are all enjoying the garden too.

More makes
Hello sunshine, hope you are here to stay for a while. Phew it's been hot this past week but so lovely to have sunny days in the garden wearing shorts and strappy tops with my flip-flops.
I picked a little posy from my garden which now sits on my bedside table. The sweet peas smell heavenly.
Do you like my crochet bunting I made for Coco Baby's bedroom?
Also I'm hearting my Noro shawl which still needs blocking..... Don't think I will get much chance to wear it yet.
Toodle pip for now.

Dresses for Coco baby
I have so much inspiration buzzing in my head since having Coco baby. I love making bits and pieces for her. Do you like these little dresses? Picked up some fat quarters and pretty bias binding whilst out shopping for just a couple of pounds each. A few hours sat at my sewing machine and TA DAH..... Pretty dresses. The dress with the colourful fruit was made using a tablecloth bought for 99p from the pound shop. I used curtain lining to line it as the fabric isn't the best quality but what a bargain. I'm sorry about my post being contained in one paragraph. I blog from an iPad 2 and can't seem to blog in the same way as with the lap top. Does anyone have any good advice regarding suitable blogging apps? Do you like my ginger boy Ambrose? He was enjoying the sun at the weekend. He seems to be looking less for his sister this week. Handsome boy X

Happy makes for my little family
What a lovely day again, although I think it may cloud over and rain a little later.
Never mind. We don't mind because there are lots of lovely things to do here at home with Coco Baby.
Do you like the pretty cardigans I've knitted for her?
Didn't want the Mr to feel left out so knitted him a pair of double knit slouch socks to wear with his walking boots.
Loving the garden and enjoying watching Coco Baby as she explores.
Hope the sun is shining for you.

Millie Cat
If I had known that on that day our time was near the end.
I would have done things differently, my forever friend.
I would have stayed right next to you deep into the night.
But I thought I would see you in the early morning light.
And so I said goodnight to you as I closed the kitchen door.
Never thinking that I wouldn't see you anymore.
But if I'd known that on that day our time was at the end.
I would have done things differently my forever friend.
I wish I could have been with you Millie. I'm so sorry beautiful girl.
I miss you.

Coco baby
Yesterday was my birthday.
You made my birthday perfect.
I didn't need any gifts because I have you in my life.
Your first smile of the day for mummy on her birthday.
Your first cuddle of the day for mummy on her birthday.
Making me smile as you shouted dadadadadada as we shopped in the supermarket.
Smiling at the lady behind us over my shoulder as we waited in the queue for my birthday treat latte.
Adding to your fan club as we waited for my blood test in the doctors surgery.
Putting your fingers in my mouth (your latest trick) as I breastfeed you.
Talking to me with your eyes. Such beautiful expressive eyes.
Talking in your own little language to my flipflop.
Waving and clapping your hands at Charlie dog.
You made my special day extra special.
You make every day extra special.
I love you my darling Coco baby.

Well hello there
A lot has happened since I last posted.
A lot of very exciting things.
My life has changed so much.
Four weeks left to go
Only a few minutes old
In the recovery unit about one hour old.
Life these days is fab fab fab.
I cant believe its possible to feel so happy and contented.
The last eighteen months havent all been plain sailing, oh no, not by a long way. My pregnancy was pretty textbook thankfully with no major setbacks or problems, but I did suffer the most horrendous pregnancy sickness and vomiting throughout the whole nine months. I may at some point write a post about this. Unless you have suffered it is very difficult to empathise how someone is feeling and how every waking minute of every day is spent either being or feeling sick. But you know what? I would go through it again one hundred times worse for my Coco baby because she is the reason for every day of my life both now and every day of my life before she was born. She is the reason for every breath that I breath.
She was born on the 4th September 2012 by elective C section weighing 6lb and 12ozs.
I discovered I was pregnant following a first attempt at IVF following ten years of trying for a baby with three miscarriages and sadness every month the pregnancy test showed a negative response. Following the IVF treatment we had to wait two weeks before taking a blood test that would measure Hcg levels in my blood to determine if i was pregnant or not. We went to my surgery on the morning of 30th December 2011 and was told the blood results would be ready in a few days. No way could I wait that long so we bought a digital pregnancy test on the way home and lo and behold it read two to three weeks pregnant YAYYYYY.
Our beautiful little girl has three names and is named after my grandmother, a beautiful Scottish island, and an olympic swimmer from last year. But on this blog i will refer to her as Coco baby.
Coco baby is eight months old now and weighs just over 16lbs. Im still breast feeding her which has worked really well for us and we are two months into baby led weaning which is great fun but very messy he he.
Well thats me for now but hopefully will find time to blog again very soon. Ive got so much to share with everyone including lots of knitting and crochet ta dahs.
